Hi All, I completed my B-Tech in IT in 2006 and have been working in recruitment for the past 3 years. I am considering pursuing an MBA in HR through distance learning at Symbiosis/IGNOU. I seek your suggestions on whether I should opt for an MBA in HR or an MBA in IT, which could potentially lead me towards roles such as project coordinator, PMO, or Business Analyst given my IT background.

I look forward to hearing your recommendations.

Thanks,
Suresh

As of now, you have three years of experience in recruitment, right? It would be better for you to go for an MBA in HR because nowadays, companies are hiring HR managers in IT companies based on the experience of the recruiter (in your recruitment field). So, you have a very good opportunity to pursue an MBA in HR.
