Dear All,
Several questions arose in my mind after reviewing the attachment. Please assist in clarifying the following:
1. What is the difference between Working Load Limit (WLL) and Safe Working Load (SWL)?
2. The maximum allowable temperature for flexible steel wire rope is 95 degrees Celsius as per the document. What damages will occur if the FSWR is exposed to temperatures higher than 95 degrees Celsius? Additionally, at what duration of exposure do these damages begin to occur?
I have a few more doubts, but I will address them once I receive positive responses to the above queries.

The WLL (working load limit) is determined by the manufacturers, whereas the SWL (safe working load) is determined by a third-party inspection authority. SWL is always lower than the WLL.
I have no idea about the effects of temperature on metallic slings. I have no experience in such cases and have never seen high-temperature effects on metallic slings or ropes.
