Hi there, can anyone help me in developing the curriculum which I already have? It needs to be designed in a way that underprivileged youth can understand the subject. I believe that the current curriculum is too complex for them to follow.

Dear Phani Prasad,

The handbook attached by you is an excellent piece of document; well-written and exhaustive to cover almost every point. I am yet to go through it fully.

About your current assignment, do give some more information on the "curriculum" - the subjects/topics to be covered, etc. I do understand the nature of the assignment; however, I would appreciate more details on the 'contents' to be included/covered.

Or, would you like the same material to be rewritten in simpler language so that it is easily understood by the "underprivileged youth"?

Warm regards.

Hi Raj Kumar,

This is Phani Prasad. As we have Facilitators throughout India at different states who are experienced in BPOs, we feel that the content is too lengthy. We also feel that the grammar part has to be deleted, and some more information is required about call centers, their functions, and even the phonetics of the US and UK.

Dear Phani,

Thanks for your response. What I understand now is that the document needs to be rendered simple and easily comprehensible, and to include US & UK accents. However, the latter task would require additional inputs by way of sensitizing the participants about the respective cultures, way of life, manners & etiquettes, as well as audio inputs of different voice tones, intonation, peculiarities of pronunciation, and local accents (such as Liverpool, Welsh, Scottish for the UK, and Texan and other states for the US).

I was not aware that Dr. Reddy's Foundation (I hope it's connected to Dr. Reddy's Lab - the pharmaceutical giant) actively participates in such "employability" initiatives for rural/underprivileged youths.

Warm regards.
