Dear Seniors,
Please help me out to know the procedure to get an amendment in the Registration Certificate as we have two more contractors added for certain works. Please also advise if it is mandatory to send the Original Registration Certificate to the authorities. Sometimes, we have new contractors come and old ones leave, and that happens every two months. In this situation, what is required to be initiated.
Kindly suggest.
Thanks & regards,

Dear R. Narwal,
The changes in the particulars of contractors have to be communicated to the Registering Officer in writing so that the Registering Officer can update his register. If you have engaged two or more contractors, you need to draft a letter addressing the Registering Officer, mentioning the details of the contractor, i.e., the name and address of the contractor, nature of work on the contract, location of contract work, period of the contract, and the maximum number of contract laborers to be employed by the contractor.
It is not mandatory to send the original copy of the Registration Certificate. You should only mention the RC number and date in your letter.
