Dear Friends,
Hello!!
My organization wants me to recruit people in different areas related to production as well as staff positions. I generally use job portals like "naukri.com" and some other local job portals. I also utilize methods of direct recruitment and ads in sourcing resumes. However, I am currently facing a lot of problems in recruitment as I am unable to source the right kind of candidates, especially for middle-level management positions.
Could someone please guide me on what other methods of recruitment are commonly used in organizations? I urgently need this information as my recruitment targets are constantly increasing.
Regards,
Vinita

Here is something which might aid in recruitments especially if the candidate is cold communicating with the employers. ' Tips to write an Effective Cover Letter'
Hi Mahalakshmi,
Is it okay to work with a number of consultancies? We have subscribed to Monster, and most resumes sent by consultants are from Monster. Secondly, being a media company, we have very specific requirements. I currently work with five consultants and have a requirement of around 20 employees in the next two months. The requirements are in marketing, sales, creative, client servicing, technical (for our studio), and other general staff like admin, receptionist, HR, etc. I am alone handling recruitment and totally stranded. Please suggest...

Hi,
If you are looking after all recruitments in your organization, I think it's absolutely necessary to have 8-15 consultants on your panel, depending upon monthly requirements. You should try to have those consultants who are specifically catering to your industry. I am sure you will benefit greatly from this. We have 12 regular consultants. In addition to that, job portals, internal references, and networking would also help solve your problem. Try giving some attractive advertisements in leading newspapers if you can because, based on my experience with recruitments, these ads attract good candidates.
Thanks,
Manka
