Dear HR pros,

I have been in the T&D field at a petrochemical plant for quite some time. I am in need of a question bank to evaluate the different attributes of interviewees. Some attributes include analytical skills and logical reasoning, clarity of thoughts, conceptual clarity, openness of mind, confidence level, interpersonal skills, and team spirit, among others.

The main limitation is time; the assessment should only take 30 to 45 minutes. Kindly suggest to me.

With love and affection,

Hello svsankar:

Are you presuming that these traits predict job success?

We ask 318 questions of all job finalists, and it takes about an hour of the applicant's time on the Internet. See the list below for what we look at prior to the hire.

How many questions can you ask in 30 to 45 minutes while listening to the answers and keeping a well-documented written record? Perhaps as many as 20 questions? Face-to-face interviews are not very effective for identifying future successful employees.
