Hi Experts,
I am requesting clarification on the following:
Q1) Is TDS deducted for the difference between the total earnings and (P.F + Professional Tax)?
Q2) Is the amount of PF shown on the employee salary slip inclusive of employer contribution towards PF?
Q3) What is the percentage of TDS where annual total earnings are up to 6.90 lakhs?
Thanks in advance.

PF and PT are not included in TDS.
Is the amount of PF shown on the employee's salary slip inclusive of the employer's contribution towards PF?

Hi Vikash,
Thanks for the reply. Most of my questions are satisfactorily answered. Regarding my last question: If the employee has not made any investments under section 80, and the HR requires to deduct his TDS for his total earnings of 6.90 lakhs, how much would that be?
Thanks in advance.
