Dear all,

this is my 1st thread on cite HR...
i am facing following problems in my current company.
well, im a Recruiter in one of corporate company in pune. we three strated recruitment division nearabout 11 months back..now we r growing with1 head, 6 recruiters, and 1 executive-business executive. my performance is really gud. my problem is my boss is very irritating, he cant handle team.. he usually went home at 1pm. ..he dont care what is happning in a team.. no team meeting, no reports nothing...and there r lots of requirements coming. our company is wel known in the market. becz of my boss there is miscommunication and fight in our team,

Now main problem is two months back one candidate joined us as a executive.. he started to telling us about our head all bad things…we also support him..and we start to gossip about our head….we complained to our management …management also knows ki he is doing nothing in the office. I don’t know why mgt is not taking decisions…that executive started to interfering to each and every isshue…and he is not at all concern with recruitment…and from his reference 3 more recruiters joined and he started to divided into 2 parts…..

Now situation is my boss is playing weird game. He just wanted fight in the team…our 6 recruiters devided into 2 teams..and tht is d major gossiping subject in the organization. I asked my head directly ki we 3 only started this division then why you are creating problems, why ru doing differentiate us….his reply was like its my call. Let me handle

I m trying to concentrating on my work..becz I am a top performer in the team, but becz of executive nosiness I cant do my work. I went to my management also. They people r also don’t want like this…

Please tell me what to do????

Why don't all of you have a meeting with your boss and explain to him saying that his behaviour is affecting all employees and in turn this will affect the business and they might undergo loss. Sometimes you just have to be transparent with the top management.

we allready did meeting with him, he said its my way of working.. we also went to top management, 1 month bef our COO told us give me 15 days time, either we changed man or we change him...BUT tht executive his work is only to get business, we dnt know wht he says bad about us to our head..and bez of team clashes my management is thinkin let boss handle...
and when i joined me and my collgue only gave all report format, planning, clients...becz we want sucess. we two gave good revenue to company...and now when other recruiters joined he changed....

Hi..I spoke to my boss about it.. He said if ur boss himself doesn’t wnt to change, there is nothing really that u can do.. The best you can do is change your job :( Sorry

Recruiter.sona............. have u ever watched Hero Honda Roadies............that executive played that role.........to make everyone fight....in ur co. just like what that man does in the show.......... so u can not do anything more then start searching some other job.... where politics is less........But I must say it will be a part of the world............so think twice before take any decision........

Sometimes if there are many people in the organization in the same department, management executes divide and rule policy so that each one can perform equally good. It ultimately results in good productivity by all.
May be this manager is trying to play this game to make everyone as productive as you.
Just stay away from gossips and concentrate on your performance. There is nothing which could match your performance.

as i written company is good...so i dont want to change... i spoke with top management...he said i will do something, now im concentrating my work....

Every one wants to be the employee of a well established company. But some on getting employed for such reputed company tries and get maximum staff of his/her choice and the existing staff is being harrased.One reason could be because of lack of upgradation of the letest tech/system/methods. Unwilling to change and resulting low productivity.In my case after working for 13 years, I was transfered to sales department just to make me resign and go. I discussed this issue even with director of the comapny, nothing went right. I shifted from manufacturing to hospitality industry and now well settled.( a different exposure with better salary) I think, if you are self confident and u love to work for the same company You should maintain the record of your job activities and bring it the notice of the higher management and proove, that you are an asset to the company.avoid arguments and put every word every time on paper. or till you get a new job simply warm the chair.

Dear Friend,
The simple policy to tacke such misdeed is either fight or flight. But, before you decide to flight, make sure that you have put 100% efforts in fighting & overcoming the situation; sothat you should never regreat in future afterwards that if you could have done something else, the situation / result would have turned positive.
still if it does not work, then only eventually take a decision to fly away.
