Dear Anonymous,

Thinking seriously about career is the first step to get employment and your message amply demonstrates it. I acknowledge you for that!

MBA HR itself is a professional course- unless you have already identified a strong reason and a program that assures you a placement, I do not see much point in adding another degree. Of course, you are the best person to know the same.

My advise would be as below:

1. Prepare well for your campus placement interviews

2. Work on your communication, confidence and attitude.

3. If you can pick up industry projects without compromising on your studies, it will give you practical insights and confidence

4. Build a good social media- linkedin profile

5. Pick up one or two professional areas of interests- read, research and contribute in social media discussions

6. Interview HR managers on the topic of how to build successful careers, what does industry look for in freshers etc.

7. Prepare a nice CV and resume

8. Be prepared to leave your comfort zone in terms of location, family-friends etc. if the job opportunities are available elsewhere

9. Actively use on line job portals

All the best!

regards,

Rajesh
