Raguvaran sir

Now in all municipalities and village boards in Tamil Nadu has banned the use of plastic bags in groceries and all shops... if these shops give those bags against the order the will be cancelled after giving a warning.............
I am also aware of what u r coming to say but the thing is if u mingle with common people (apart from professionals) thy are ignorant and people hailing from rural villages also consider the COST OF THE BAG......... since thy oly earn a very LESS AMOUNT as their WAGES.......(Rs175 - 200) approx to satisfy their basic needs and the education of their children................

But now through the TN govt order they also started using paper or recyclable bags.............
If the recyclable bags are available in shops at free of cost like polythene bags then people wnt hesitate to use the recycle bags...........

Dharani,

I don't think that TN govt was banned plastic bags all over Tamil Nadu. Last one month most of all purchasing for diwali everybody getting free polythene bag from all stores. Hope you are also on the list.

We are all having a reason for everything (Especially me if i made mistake I’ll give the reason which opponent can’t araise any more question to me). Let’s think on my point of view it’s not about cost of bag it’s all about our attitude. If you want to change/support our environment just grab the bag with you at all times whenever you going to store its not a matter about wages and other things.

Instead of we expect they need to provide recyclable bags use your bag it’s very easy to implement as well compare to change the public.

Lets try this in your own (I tried this it’s given a good result to me). Whenever you going to buy anything in any shop most of them packed your material with cute polythene bag. Now you will explain them with smile ‘’I don’t wanna use polythene bag which will create a problem to our next generation’’ so let me give my material I will use my bag. May it takes only 45 sec approximately then see what will happen whoever stand around you may they think at least one min about environment if you do the same again and again the shop keeper surely will change one day its not a matter he will change or not you will keep continue this at least your family/friends will change.

Hope you got my point.
