Hi,

Can anyone provide me with the full process and procedure for the position of HR Generalist? I have 2 years of experience in HR Recruitment and recently transitioned to an HR Generalist role. Touch wood, I am currently overseeing a team of 40, but I would like to learn more about this position.

Unfortunately, there is no PF and ESI in my current organization. Could you please provide details about the entire process, from onboarding to exiting?

I am looking forward to your replies.

Thanks & Regards,

Manya Gogia

Dear Seniors,

I have around 2 years of experience as an HR assistant. Recently, our Sir has resigned, and now I am solely responsible for HR duties. I am seeking help from all of you regarding an unfortunate incident where one of our employees, belonging to a lower position grade, has passed away. His PF contribution period is approximately 2 years. Is there a possibility to claim the EDLI amount (death claim) for him, considering his financial circumstances as he had small children? It is my responsibility to handle this matter, and I also personally wish to support his family.

Please assist me as I have never encountered such a situation before. I am unsure of the process, including the forms required from the PF office, how to fill them out, and whom to submit them to. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated if anyone has experience with handling a death claim. Kindly email me at neelimachinthala@gmail.com.

I am eagerly awaiting your help.

Malini.

Dear Siddharth,

I feel that the job description you have attached refers only to the HR-Recruitment function. There are some other functions that would also be part of the HR Generalist Profile, including a bit of IR activities. These functions include Payroll, PF, ESIC, PT correspondences, Employee Grievances Handling, Performance Appraisals, and IOF correspondences.

Regards,
Sudhankumar.
