Hello all,
This is really urgent. Thanks in advance to all those who help me with their time for replying to this post.
I am leaving my current employer who has:
- a marked history of not paying the dues on time
- the month's salary on time
- the salary of the month of your notice period (31 days)
- the deductions we had from our monthly salary have no record, and that is never credited to our account on leaving this organization
- ex-employees have to constantly knock on their doors for asking them to clear the dues
- never provides the salary slips monthly
- no details of the deductions from our CTC
My request from you is to ask for, "Which documents should I ask my current employer to provide me on my last day in this office?"
Question: Do I also need to take legal action against them, and if yes, which documents should I ask them to provide me for the proceedings?
Once again, thanks a bunch in advance for the replies.

Hi Rakhi,
I'm not an HR, but I'm replying because nobody else did. When asking, make sure to request at least the following documents:
1. Relieving Letter - This document proves that you have been relieved from all responsibilities and don't owe the company anything.
2. Experience Letter -
3. Salary Slips - At least for the last 3-6 months. This serves as proof of salary.
Others, please add.
Hope this helps,

Thank you very much, Shikha, for your valuable help and time. I already have these options in mind. Please provide the additional documents I should ask for, such as the details of the deductions per month that used to happen from my salary. This is important as the company did not provide any salary slips every month, etc. Suggestions are invited.
Thanks in advance.
