Hi Friends :icon1:
I am restructuring the present leave policy for the company. I wanted to know if someone can tell me what the leave rules are as per the Shop Establishment Act for logistics/service industries.
The bifurcation of EL/PL, SL & CL as per the act and the latest amendments on maternity & paternity leave.
or
EVEN YOU CAN GUIDE ME ON YOUR PRESENT LEAVE POLICY.
Looking forward to your suggestions, advice. :)

The leave policy basically differs from company to company. Ours is a service company, and we provide:
- SL: 6 days
- CL: 6 days
- PL/EL: 18 days per year
- Maternity leave: 12 weeks
- Company holidays: 10 per year
We operate on a 5-day work week. If your company operates on a 6-day work week, you can increase your CL and SL to 12 days each.
