Dear All,
Like every year, the income tax department has issued a circular for employees on the TDS on salary payments for the current year 2006-07 (assessment year 2007-08). This circular covers the main payments, exemptions, and relevant rules for perquisite valuation to be considered by the person who disburses salary and is responsible for TDS compliance.
