Isn't it amazing that George Carlin - comedian of the 70s and 80s - could write something so very eloquent...and so very appropriate.
A Message by George Carlin:
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend

Thanks, Nithya..!! Very Nice Post!!

This Quote has always fascinated me: "Life isn't about the moments of breath you take, but about the moments that take your breath away."
Recently, I was discussing this quote with one of my friends, and I said, "So...why would I want something to take my breath away...isn't it like getting disconnected from life...temporary death...though for a few moments!!!"
This made me ponder and browse the net regarding breaths... And I stumbled upon this very interesting read which says, "The Creator (Brahma) allotted each one of us 'Number of Breaths' and that's how our lifespan was decided!!" So, it's like having Pocket Money...some get more...some get less, and it's all upon our usage!!
Then, as per the above theory, the lesser you use your breath balance, the longer your life is!! 😊😊😊
Maybe that's a probable reason behind telling an angry fella, "Take a deep breath, man" or "Save your breath, lady!!!" 😂😂😂

This truly represents some very sobering thoughts from a person who is such a well-known comedian. Perhaps we should take most of this on board and see how much our lives will change for the better.
I think that George Carlin did not write this. These are very wise words, true to life. That being said, they're great words, no matter who wrote them. Thanks for sharing.
