Dear Folks,

I have completed my MBA and have approximately 3 years of work experience in HR in a mid-sized organization where I was heading the department. I have left the organization and am planning to further enhance my profile by obtaining certifications.

Please suggest the scope of SAP HR. Also, suggest institutes where I can pursue this course.

Thanks

Dear Manpreet,

In Gulf countries and also in India (multinational companies), there is more scope for SAP. In Bangalore, there are institutes where you can pursue this course. You can find more information on the internet.

If you have knowledge of SAP, please share it with me. You can reach me via email at dinesh_jansari@live.com.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Dinesh

Dear Precious,

I understand your requirement regarding SAP HR and am willing to share my insights on that. It's good to hear that you have 3 years of experience post-MBA. I strongly believe that before you embark on the SAP HR course, you should try to figure out why you are interested in pursuing it. Is it for building knowledge, enhancing skills, monetary benefits, etc.?

You may proceed with learning SAP-HR, but never make the mistake of thinking that your entire career is solely dependent on SAP. SAP is simply a tool that has streamlined the various functional wings of an organization, with HR being one of them.

Therefore, before delving into SAP HR, consider all the HR verticals in which you already have expertise. Utilize your SAP knowledge in daily operations.

Always remember that ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) came first, and SAP emerged as a tool to implement this ERP concept across different industries. Therefore, understanding HR concepts is fundamental, with SAP-HR being a tool to support this knowledge.

If you have any doubts, please feel free to reach out to me at mohammed.zyx@gmail.com.

Best regards

SAP is a technical course where you learn how to encode all the data in a standard format in any division—say HR or marketing.

As HR contains all the information of employees, its application is vast. For the course, the institute from Siemens is in Masjid Moth, South Delhi. Search on the net; you'll get their contact number. Although it's quite expensive, the placement is really good.

Hi,

SAP is a powerful tool for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), especially for big companies. All activities within a company can be performed with SAP's help (except design). The data stored in a huge database can be used for reporting purposes, planning future activities, and more.

SAP can provide users with a complete view of a company in a reasonable time (of course, if they have the necessary authorizations).

In SAP HR, you can engage in e-recruiting, run payroll, maintain detailed employee files, plan employee careers, schedule trainings, track attendance with cost details, and more.

If you aspire to be an IT consultant, the SAP HR module offers a great opportunity.

While the trainings are expensive, I recommend attending them only if you intend to transition to a SAP HR consultant role (which is well-paid).

For those looking to gain HR department experience, it's advisable to invest in a book like "Mastering HR Management with SAP" (though the book is also quite expensive, around 60 Euros from SAP Press).

I hope you now have a better understanding of what SAP and SAP HR entail.

Kind Regards,

I have completed an MBA in HR and Marketing and have been working as a Placement Officer in the same management institute where I studied. I am interested to know about my prospects in the field of core HR functions and also, after I pursue a course in SAP HR. I am eager to enhance my knowledge and practical experience in HR functions. I would also like to understand which functions are currently considered the most difficult and the easiest in the HR field as per market trends. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

SAP: A Leading Provider of Business Software

SAP is the world's leading provider of business software, specializing in industry-specific Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. SAP professionals are among the highest-paid globally. There is no doubt that 100% of you will receive good returns once you secure a job in SAP. However, where to take the course and how much investment is required are crucial considerations. Nowadays, it's easy to pursue an online certified course.

I would like to advise first joining some MNCs that run SAP. From there, you can gain basic knowledge of SAP and then proceed to join some training classes. This approach should help in learning SAP effectively.

In my opinion, the basics of SAP should be cleared within the company itself, and the critical parts should be learned through training classes.
