Hello friends,

I am currently working as an HR professional in a multinational corporation and also pursuing my MBA. I am currently working on a project titled "HR in attrition control." I need some help with this project and would like to know how I can formulate it. What are the things I should take into consideration? I am also looking for some informative websites or articles on this topic.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Regards,
Esha

Hi Shaid,

There are no custom-made templates available for attrition control. What you can do is start taking exit interviews whenever an employee comes up with the offer letter. Normally, HR professionals conduct exit interviews as a routine on the last working day of the employee. You should start conducting the exit interviews on the same day when the employee comes with the offer.

Compile all the exit interview data in Excel and analyze where the issues lie. On average, employees have issues regarding:

1. Learning (New learning)
2. Pay
3. Work Environment
4. Benefits

Compile the data and analyze it; you will find the answers yourself.

Hello friends,

I am doing an MBA in London, UK. Now, I am in my dissertation phase, which means my final project or thesis. I have chosen to focus on attrition in HR. Could anyone please send me details related to this topic? I need this information to begin my work.

Hi Eshakoul,

I believe you have completed your project on this topic. Could you please provide guidance on how I should proceed?

Thank you, friends.

Please search CiteHr where some projects are attached. Then, do a literature survey and formulate your aim and objectives for the research (in consultation with the host organization). You also need a conceptual framework for that. Decide what hypotheses you want to test.

If you have not done any of the above essential preparation for conducting a project, I would advise you to please do so and then pose a precise question.

Please see my post on Research Methodology (Ppt slides attached) at https://www.citehr.com/106849-research-projects.html and Author Workshops at <link outdated-removed> and my post at <link no longer exists - removed>
A Post by Prodcons also has information on Research Methodology. Also view and digest the message that ahujamamamia posted at CiteHr https://www.citehr.com/169377-marble-story.html. Try to become the marble statue rather than the tile.
