Dear Shamanth,

Thanks for posting the questionnaire and spreadsheets. I have taken a quick look at the questionnaire and have a couple of suggestions.

1. It is better to anchor all points of the Likert scale rather than just the end ones.
2. Some of the statements are not clear; questions 12, 15, 17, 38, 41-43, 49, and 56 need a different scale or require modifying the statement.
3. It is preferable to ask background personal questions at the end rather than at the outset.

Dear Mr. Simhan, I know it is too general... Could you guide me to rearrange or modify the questions to suit my industry "Construction"??? Awaiting for your reply :icon1:

My frank opinion... This is just a collection of questions picked from various sources and put together. This will fail the basic test of reliability and is useless from the point of view of basic research.

Hi,

You are right about the questionnaire's reliability. Thanks also for pointing out the problems with the statements (I had mentioned in my post but never got down to changing them for Shamanth, who realizes that they are not perfect). If it is used for basic research, then collecting enough responses should enable the researcher to assess its reliability. I am sure that Shamanth was only using this forum for piloting the questionnaire to improve it.

Dear Mona,

I agree with you; this is a collection from various sources like textbooks, project reports, the internet, etc. I have gathered these to help my boss design an Employee Satisfaction Questionnaire for the employees of my company. We have already devised the survey, and it is currently in progress. I then felt like sharing this with friends like you on this forum because it's not useless, if I'm not wrong.

Best wishes,

I agree with Nashbramhall, Mona, and Gayatri's points. Mona has pointed out correct points. Similarly, in question numbers 50 to 52, there is no restriction on points. These aspects need to be considered. Anyways, this discussion will truly help in establishing the necessary formats. Shamath, please share more on this if you can.

Regards,
Rahul

Dear Mr. Shamnath,

Good evening!

Thank you for the questionnaire. It would be useful to everyone with a few modifications in the questions to align with industry requirements. Overall, this is a good attachment.

Sir, I am a homeopathic lecturer in a private college. The employer does not deduct any TDS as the income is below the limit. Sir, I wanted to know whether I need Form 16 from the employer to apply for a loan in any nationalized banks.

If you do a Google search of the web using key words from the questionnaire, it will lead to other sites that have the same questions. Simhan
