Dear HRs,

I request all to clarify whether, after completing one probation period and an additional 3 months without any communication from management, it is mandatory to accept the extension of probation letter at the beginning of the 4th month served under the same terms and conditions. Can I quit the job by rejecting the extension letter and not serving the one-month notice period, as stated in the appointment letter, which is valid for only one year?

Kindly clarify and guide me on the legal aspects.

Regards,
