Statistics @ Work
The role and importance of the adoption of Statistical Methods at the workplace in corporate organizations, manufacturing industry, service organizations, administration (including civil supplies, police, telecommunication, transport, electricity, temple administration, dairy development universities, etc.), civic bodies, tourism, etc., besides hospitals, rural development, banking, and the IT sector are rapidly increasing.
In the current challenging global environment, the need for acquiring data management skills is vital.
Most of the managerial and operating staff need to be quickly trained in skills such as data management, data warehousing, utilization, and computer applications.
With IT backup, massive online data flow has tremendously increased, which is not fully captured and statically analyzed for better planning, control, evaluation, and monitoring. Most organizations in the public and private sectors use internal and external data from an accounting standpoint and do not adopt statistical analysis.
Statistics @ Work is an intensive four-day workshop developed by Dr. H.K. Lakshman Rao, a management and statistical consultant based on his 33 years of academic and industry experience for imparting essential statistical skills in data management. Organizations and educational institutions in the TQM, ERP, and Six-Sigma environment will immensely benefit from implementation. These workshops are being offered at different locations at a national level for the benefit of organizations in the public, private, cooperative, and NGO sectors.
The workshop will initially be held in Tirupati by Dr. H.K. Lakshman Rao and his team in association with S.V. University, Tirupati, during May 2009.
Corporate managers, administrative executives, faculty of universities/research institutions can avail of this offer. Registration is limited to 30 on a first-come basis.
Details can be obtained from Dr. H.K. Lakshman Rao via email: hklrao@gmail.com, M-09381036989, or Prof. Rajasekar Reddy, S.V. University via email: putharsr@yahoo.co.in.
