Dear All,
I work in a manufacturing industry, and we are planning to conduct a "collage competition" among our employees with different teams. I am expecting your suggestions to make it more colorful.
Right now, we are working on topics like "safety at work", "customer satisfaction", "Better Workplace", etc. Please suggest some more topics to choose.
Your immediate responses would be highly appreciated.

Hi Selvakumar,
We also conducted the same activity 2 months back in our office. Simply arrange a few charts, glues, sketch pens, scissors, cellotapes, etc. for them in bulk and give employees time to prepare cuttings, quotes, pictures, and other materials on their own. Give them a choice in selecting 1 theme out of the given 3 themes. Help them in getting materials downloaded through the net, simply assist them but don't advise. Let them use their own brains.
Now, after a week, you can conduct this activity. Give them half an hour to paste their materials on the chart paper (only 1 per team). Place the materials (glue, tapes, etc.) at a common place. After the given time, ask each representative from each team to describe and explain what they have prepared. Parameters can include attractiveness, relation with the theme, creativity, neatness, explanation, etc.
Hope this helps! You will love to see the beautiful work done by your star people...

Hi Selvakumar,
It's Kuldeep this side. I need to know what kind of manufacturing you people deal with because different processes require different kinds of training.
Hope you will reply.
Kind regards,

Hi Arti,
Thanks for the suggestion; this is exactly what we planned. Moreover, we are not planning to give a topic before a week; instead, we will provide a topic on the spot. All the required magazines and newspapers will be provided for taking relevant pictures. Additionally, we have identified 3 judges from different departments and are going to select the best one.
Tomorrow, we are conducting the competition. I will share the experience later.
Thanks for all.

Hi Selva,
Thank you for your input. My only suggestion is to consider providing the topic at least 1 week or even 2 days in advance. Avoid giving them magazines or pictures, just offer assistance and allow them to brainstorm in their own way.
On the final day, you and the judges will be surprised to see the creative and beautiful work done by them and all the exclusive colleagues.
I believe it's just my thought.
All the best,
Arti :)

Hi,
We conducted the College competition with the topic of "Winning Customer Confidence!" Employees from different functions participated and really enjoyed the event. They came up with various ideas for satisfying customers in a creative manner.
The jury selected the top 2 presentations. We asked all the teams to present their ideas and explained them. It was a great experience. Our Marketing team was actually amazed by the employees' input on the topic.
Thank you so much for your suggestions. If you have more events or games, please share them with us.
