I am an HR Executive in an IT Training Institute which has an E-Learning and e-Publishing division. I have been an HR Recruiter for the past two years. Now I am looking for a change - like implementing new concepts in my organization that will add value to both the organization and my profile.

Kindly guide me on what I can do.

Well, your namesake was one of my heroes. Jokes apart. Let me tell you first, you need to ascertain what is missing or what new things you want to implement. As an HR professional, do you have the permission to make the necessary changes?

Let me elucidate. You can make changes in the Performance Appraisal System by introducing a Balanced Score Card or go in for a new Quality Standard like Six Sigma. So, in what field do you want changes? Please tell us so that we can all help you with your plans.

I am a recruiter for the past two years. I conducted competency mapping two years ago, but the issue was that I am unsure whether they implemented it or not. Here is the process I followed:
1. I conducted job analysis through one-on-one interviews.
2. I then consolidated and structured it into Key Result Areas (KRAs).
3. Following that, we performed skill set analysis, both technically and non-technically.

Now, I am unsure of the next steps. Please advise me on this.

Next, I have a question: Is Six Sigma used for Performance Appraisal? Please let me know.

After recruitment, I am interested in implementing the following in my organization:
1. Balanced Scorecard,
2. Competency Mapping,
3. Skill Development,
4. Motivation,
5. Retention,
6. Performance Appraisal.

Are there any training institutes that provide this type of training for implementation within my organization?
