I visited Kumarakom backwaters just now (by August 15-16, 2008). Everyone should visit those places. It is a must to enjoy the houseboats over there. The cost may be a little high, but after experiencing those breathtaking sceneries, we will not regret the money spent. The houseboats provide all the facilities similar to those of our homes.
