2. Daddy cannot stay with the girls without the presence of the mother.
3. Mum can't stay with the boys without the presence of the father.
4. The arrested red-haired girl in a stripy outfit cannot stay with any of the family members without the police officer.
5. Only the police officer and the parents can drive the boat across the river.

This test was developed and used in Japan for job and university IQ tests, mainly used in the IT sector. This test is typically solved in around 15 minutes (in Japan).

I spent half of my summer trying to solve this until my boss came peeping from behind :-P Sorry, I have no clue yet, but would love to know how one can crack it. But Nash, is it a good parameter to judge a person's IQ? I beg to disagree :huh:
