Power of Positive Thinking in Killing Depression

At times in life, there are situations that arise which can result in depression, the biggest enemy of a peaceful life. There is a statement made by some gentleman that "Man is the creator of his own circumstances, so why blame?". Depression affects not only our health but also the people around us. We need to overcome our negative thoughts and bounce back with more energy, fight the circumstances, and emerge as a winner. There are some possible ways to overcome situations in our lives.

1) Believe in yourself, your strengths, and capabilities.
2) Analyze the situation to determine if it's truly insurmountable.
3) Eliminate distractions that may hinder your work and family life.
4) Channel your depression and anger into inner strength.
5) Fill your mind with positive thoughts.
6) Remember there is always more to explore.
7) Reject negativity and bounce back with strength, energy, and confidence.
8) Opportunities are always present; we just need to seize them at the right moment.
9) Focus on being innovative and productive rather than engaging in bad habits.
10) Instead of dwelling on problems, focus on finding solutions with an open mind.
11) Communicate your thoughts, spend time with loved ones, and express your feelings as a step towards overcoming depression.
12) Your depression can disrupt your family's peace.
13) Have faith in yourself and believe that life is full of hope and new opportunities.
14) Life teaches us through both good and bad experiences.
15) Control your emotions, especially anger, as it can overwhelm us. Learn to manage it and move forward.
16) Use setbacks as opportunities to learn and progress in life.

Lastly, face life with confidence, strength, positivity, and creativity, with an attitude of overcoming challenges. Viewing depression positively may reveal hidden abilities within yourself. Do not let life defeat you; strive to overcome fate. Success in overcoming depression once makes it easier to face any circumstances. Remember, our perspective shapes our life.

"Live life as if there is no tomorrow & Learn as if there is a lot more to explore"

Thank you for the motivating guidance, Shweta. I have simplified all the above points into a single word that's practical for any individual. It may be hard for a person to remember all the aforementioned points, but perhaps everybody can remember this magic word, and I think it works wonders.

The magic word is: C H O I C E

For everything that happens, we have a choice except for one and only one occasion, and that's DEATH where our choices end. When we have to make choices every day, every moment, we have to ask ourselves, "Is this my choice - then these will be the consequences." Once this habit is formed, most of the things that happen will come under our purview, and we will be forced to make better choices rather than act out of compulsion or accept everything blindly.

So, I hope everybody remembers this magic word, and I'm sure this will help us all to make wise and better choices in life.

Cheers,
Fayaz
