Dear All,

Could you please let me know what CTC should be given for an HR Manager or Senior Manager - Recruitment in MNC companies? I am in the process of determining the appropriate CTC for them. Additionally, what reimbursements do you provide to help them save on taxes?

With kind regards,

Good question. Every company gives different types of CTC's; it is not one fixed figure. You can find the HR Manager mentioning CTC from 2.5 lakhs to 15 lakhs. MNCs pay high, manufacturing industries pay a little lower, and BPO/IT/Call Centres pay between 6 to 10 lakhs. Construction/Service sectors pay normally. There is no specific criterion for CTC. Additionally, you can save on taxes through various reimbursements like Car Maintenance, Medical, LTA, Driver, Uniform, Books & Periodicals, Residential Telephone, entertainment expenses, etc. However, the FBT will be deducted, but it is not equivalent to the TDS deductions. For instance, if TDS is at 30%, FBT should be approximately 6%, but all reimbursements require proper bills submission and record maintenance.

Thanks,

Dear,

Every company provides different types of CTCs; however, it depends on various factors:

1. How expensive and how valuable that person is?
2. Normal hike of 20-25% in his/her current CTC.
3. What experience and what difference he/she can bring into the organization.

Everyone has their own way of tax deduction; let them decide what could help them in reimbursements to save their taxes.

Should you require any further information or assistance, I shall remain available at all times.

Thank you, and best regards.
