How does one present a very detailed step-by-step process (needed for change management) into a very simple diagram? If I make it simple, then all necessary changes will be omitted. My boss will not read anything longer than 1 page. He told me that a process flow and a recommendation page are one and the same. We come from different backgrounds: I am an MBA grad so my presentation and research skills are excellent. I am also very thorough.

So how to make a nine-page report into a single slide? We are talking of systematizing each process here. You mean make motherhood statements? Please advise.

Hi,

If you have not done it so far, could you explain what the process is for? There will be a possibility of linking a few activities together; only then will it be possible to put them on a page.

First, try to simplify it as much as possible on one page. Obtain formal approval from your boss, as others may not understand. Derive a few sub-processes linking to the first one.

If you need my help, please email the detailed procedure to me at nandish@wadeadams.com.
