Is it compulsory for the employer to issue Form 12BA to employees leaving the company during the financial year in addition to Form 16, which will be issued after the completion of the financial year?

Is it compulsory for the employer to issue Form 12BA to employees leaving the company during the financial year in addition to Form 16, which will be issued after the completion of the financial year?

Not necessary. You can just give a signature and stamp on the document 12B (self-declaration of tax by the employee), salary slips, and IT computation slip of the employee. Form 16 is issued after the end of the financial year. This is true to my understanding; senior members may please correct if my understanding is wrong.
