Understanding ESI Deduction on Leave Encashment and Gratuity Calculation

Hi, i have small doubt whether ESIC is deducted on Leave Encashment. plz guide me b’coz this is very urgent and i have to get back to my management abt the same asap. Thanx Milind

No Any payment done not at regular intervals of two or less than two months do not attract ESI Siva

Hi Mr. Siva is absolutely right. You need not recover ESI on Leave encashment, I presume it is paid once in a year R G NAGENDRA

Dear Friend Leave encashment will attract only PF not ESI Gratuity calculation Basic + DA / 26 x 15 x no of years of service. Regards alphonse :lol: :lol: :lol: gt-electronicindia
