Hi friends,
Nowadays, the retail sector is booming a lot. Has anybody experienced any problems in Supply Chain Management or any other issues related to the supply chain in the retail sector? Apart from these, what are the different problems one might encounter in this sector, and how can they be identified and minimized? Kindly suggest some ways to address the aforementioned issues.
Thanks

Hello,
Supply chain is all about increasing the efficiency of your system. To increase the efficiency of your system, you need to understand what your efficiency parameters should be. Is it quick and speedy delivery of products and services? Is it about proper warehousing? Is it about reverse supply chain? Is it response-related in the supply chain? Once you understand all this, then all you have to do is see where there is redundancy or if there is any process or operation being repeated. Where can I streamline a process or operation if the need arises? Can I eliminate a particular operation or process, and if yes, what would be the impact on my service or goods?
In supply chain management, the most important thing is to understand when to streamline a process or operation and to have a crisis model in place for all processes and operations at all times.
Thank you,

Hello,
To ask a question, you need to understand the business model of the company, the current parameters of the supply chain in the market, and your company's supply chain model and its efficiency parameters in comparison to the market parameters. Then, consider the expectations of the company from these managers, how well they know what is expected from them, and their contingency plan and crisis management model.
You can ask questions related to the above-mentioned topics.
Thank you,
