Dear seniors,
I received a list of holidays for different states from you. If one has to choose, in preferential order, the most celebrated holidays/festivals from the list for the year 2008, I am asking for your guidance. This is important because, for example, if the Head Office is in Bangalore and you have offices in other parts of the country, it may be challenging to know which holidays to approve for those locations.
I am enclosing a list of holidays for the kind perusal of the citizens of Delhi in a PDF attachment, as well as an Excel format list of holidays for Bangalore and Maharashtra.
Given the numerous holidays for employees in Delhi, Maharashtra, and Bangalore, I kindly request the seniors to provide a list of the most celebrated holidays by the locals in each respective area, in preferential order.
Thank you for your support.
Warm regards,
From India, Jalandhar

I am not from any of these states, but I have worked in places where we have branch offices all over India. Someone working in these states can give a better idea of festival holidays. I am very certain about national holidays.
