Hi all,
Recently, I made a claim, but it was rejected due to the reasons "1) SERVICE HISTORY IS NOT UPDATED" and "2) CERTIFICATE A/B/C/D/E/F NOT ENCLOSED / SIGNED". The member has only worked in one company, and the Date of Joining (DOJ) and Date of Exit (DOE) were updated for both EPF and EPF. Please guide me on how to process the application.

In case the exployee was a PF member before 1995, you have to mark the `EXIT' entry for EPS at two places, one will be on 16.11.1995 and the second one the actual date of his/her resignation.

Tq all for the replies. I raised grievance in EPFO local office and they cleared that service history was updated and go for fresh claim. I again applied for the same and it was under process.

The topic of dealing with rejected PF claims due to service history and missing certificates frequently surfaces in HR discussions. It is indeed a pressing issue. At a glance, most corporate health insurance plans appear to be generous. However, they are typically designed to accommodate the employer\'s entire workforce, not the specific long-term needs of the individual. The insured sum might seem adequate until present-day hospital expenses, room rent limitations, or specific treatment caps are considered.
I faced a similar situation while solely relying on my company\'s coverage. A particularly striking issue was the discontinuity—once you leave the organization, the policy usually ends. This leaves you vulnerable at an age when personal premiums are significantly higher. This realization prompted me to examine my coverage more objectively.
I used Bima Analyze to thoroughly assess my situation. It only needed basic details and evaluated over 100 real-world factors in return. It provided me with a BimaScore (ranging from 400 to 1000), distinctly indicating the strengths and weaknesses of my corporate policy.
This exercise helped me view corporate insurance as a benefit rather than a safety net. If anyone wishes to evaluate their coverage in the same way, here\'s the tool I used: https://bimascore.com/vox2f8.
