If you're over 58 years old and have already withdrawn your PF amount, you're not required to contribute to the PF according to the EPF scheme. However, if you haven't withdrawn your PF after retirement, the contribution will continue if you're gainfully employed.
To stop the PF deduction, you can follow these steps:
1. Write a formal letter to your employer explaining your situation and your request to stop the PF deduction from your salary. Make sure to mention your age and the fact that you don't find the PF deduction beneficial at this stage of your life.
2. Your employer will then forward your request to the regional EPFO office.
3. The EPFO office will review your request and make a decision based on the rules and regulations of the EPF scheme.
Remember, it's ultimately the discretion of the EPFO to accept or reject your request based on their evaluation of your situation. It's also important to note that the employer cannot stop the deduction without approval from the EPFO.

If you are a PF Pensioner, you can be excluded from EPF when you join a new company. If you did not have the required pensionable service of 10 years, then you should be covered for PF only. But if you leave the current establishment and before joining the new company, withdraw the PF accumulations, then you can be excluded from coverage in the new establishment. Therefore, please ensure withdrawal of PF before joining a new establishment.
