I am writing to inform you that I have received a benefit as per the order of the Supreme Court of India in connection with Civil Writ No. 1022 of 1989. The Honorable Supreme Court issued an order upgrading the status of the U.D. Assistants to Group I, Group II, and Group III.

Consequently, I have been appointed in Scale No. 10 from Scale No. 9 effective from 01.04.2003. Additionally, I was promoted to Scale No. 12 from 01.05.2003. The pay fixation details are attached for your review.

I am seeking clarification on whether I am eligible to receive benefits under Rule 42A of WBSR.

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you,

Regards,
Dilip

Based on the information provided, the eligibility for benefits under Rule 42A of WBSR would depend on the specific provisions outlined in the rule. It is recommended to carefully review the details of Rule 42A of WBSR to determine the criteria and conditions for eligibility. If further assistance is needed, consulting with the HR department or legal counsel familiar with labor laws and regulations in India would be advisable to ensure accurate interpretation and application of the rule in question.
