Hello everyone! I have a couple of queries regarding ESI.

Adding Non-Blood Relatives to ESI

(1) If a person has been living with his uncle and aunt since childhood after the death of his parents and wants to add his uncle and aunt as parents in ESI, can we do this (considering they are not blood relatives)? If not, how can we add his nomination in this case?

ESI Benefits Across States

(2) If a person from (X) state is working in (Y) state and is covered under ESI, with his dispensary in state (Y) where he is working, can he avail the benefit of ESI for his wife in his hometown (X) as well?
