As per my knowledge and even as per the payslip, my BASIC SALARY was 3500/-, 4000/-, and 4500/- in respective years. However, I came to know my Basic Salary is not the same as given on the Pay-Slip when I resigned and was informed to pay 41,394/- @ 13,798/- in order to serve a 3 months' notice period. When asking about the difference and definition of Basic Salary, the concerned persons stated that Basic Salary is determined based on the amount contributed by an Employer to an Employee's PF. This was proven from the final settlement as well. However, the issue is that practically, I didn't receive such a Basic Salary as mentioned above.

Respected sir/madam, please give me your valuable advice to resolve this issue.
