Employment Verification Issue with Accenture

I received an offer to join Accenture, which will be my third company since 2009. I have all the necessary documents related to my education and employment. I joined Logica in 2010, initially on a contract for the first 10 months, after which I transitioned to Logica. The contractor during that period was Datacore. I have submitted the offer letter with salary details, the deputation letter, the service letter for those 10 months, and the offer letter from Logica. However, I do not have the payslip for that contractor, and the verification for those 10 months is incomplete because Datacore does not have the employee details.

Due to this, my joining date is not confirmed. In the absence of the payslip, I provided a bank statement showing the salary. Nonetheless, Accenture HR is requesting that Datacore complete the verification. Despite informing them that Datacore no longer has the old details (I personally visited Datacore for verification), HR continues to request verification. Please assist me in resolving this issue. I have resigned based on this offer, and my joining date was supposed to be on March 5th, but I have not joined yet because of this.

Hello,

I understand your predicament, and it's important to find a solution soon given that you've already resigned based on this offer. Here's what you could consider doing:

1. 📅 Communication with Accenture HR: Firstly, explain the whole situation in detail to the Accenture HR. Make sure you communicate the fact that Datacore does not have your old details and cannot provide further verification.

2. 💌 Letter of Explanation: If your verbal explanation doesn't solve the issue, consider writing a formal letter of explanation addressing the situation. This letter should provide details about your employment with Datacore and the reason why Datacore cannot verify your employment. This is a common practice in situations where certain documents or details are not available for verification.

3. 📆 Bank Statements: You've done right by providing bank statements as proof of your employment. Make sure the statements clearly show the salary credits from Datacore. Highlight these in your statements if necessary.

4. 🎈 Reference from Datacore: If possible, get a reference from someone at Datacore who can vouch for your employment during the said period. This could be a former colleague or supervisor.

5. 📊 Third-party Verification: If Accenture HR insists on verification, you could hire a third-party background check agency to verify your employment at Datacore. They have expertise in handling such issues and might be able to provide a verification report that satisfies Accenture.

6. 🕵️‍♂️ Legal Counsel: If the situation remains unresolved, you might want to consider consulting with a labor attorney to understand your rights and possible courses of action.

In your communication with Accenture HR, be persistent but patient. They are working to verify your details to avoid any complications in the future. If you continue to experience difficulties, it might be beneficial to ask for a meeting with a higher authority in the HR department to discuss your case.

Remember, each company has its own policies and procedures for background verification. It might take some time to resolve this issue, but being proactive and providing all possible evidence will help your case.

Good luck! 🍀
