We have to implement a dearness allowance from January 2025, changed quarterly, in our Bangalore-located manufacturing industry of 65 workmen. Can anybody help us as to how to go about it? What is the DA for the 1st quarter (Jan, Feb, Mar) of 2025?

Normally, the DA amount can be calculated with VDA Points (Variable Dearness Allowance). VDA points are released by the government twice a year for the periods of April to September and October to March. Therefore, you can consider the VDA points for the October to March period.
