Dear Seniors, kindly let me know how to calculate annual maydays, average maydays, average manpower, and average man-hours under "The Assam Factories Rules, 1950". I had gone through the book entitled "The Assam Factories Rules, 1950", but it's very confusing. Looking forward to your kind response ASAP.

Standard practice of calculating:

1.0 Annual Man Days - Total number of days the organization is open in a year (365 - number of festival holidays in a year) x Number of manpower (based on actual stay in the organization).

2.0 Annual Average Man Days - Total number of days the organization is open in a year (365 - number of festival holidays in the year) x Number of manpower considering absenteeism/leave cover and off cover.

3.0 Average Manpower - Total number of manpower - weekly off days - average percentage of leave enjoyed by the employees.

4.0 Average Man Hours - Average Manpower x 8.
