What assessment can I use to test sales abilities in an insurance company?

I am not aware of any "assessment" processes. When interviewing candidates, you need to ask about their sales numbers with previous employers. Additionally, you should inquire about their sales ability through behavioral-based STAR questions. These questions should cover areas such as dealing with customers, problem-solving, generating new business, maintaining existing client relationships, integrity, and ethics.

Sales, in essence, is similar across various industries. The questions need to be adjusted to align with the specific product being sold, whether it's insurance, FMCG, cars, widgets, etc., and the type of clients the salesperson interacts with.
