Dear All,
The company registered under Shop and Establishment wishes to keep female employees in the night shift. To obtain an exemption or approval from the authority, who is responsible for releasing the same? Please provide me with your input on how to approach the appropriate authority.

Hi Andy,
There is no impediment to engaging women employees in the night shift, but we have to follow the guidelines given by the Apex Court in the "Vishaka & Others Vs State of Rajasthan" case. Hence, go through the judgment and follow the guidelines without any deviation. A soft copy of the judgment is enclosed for your ready reference.
Thanks & Regards,
