A company didn't provide the first month's salary to its employees. They also provide the salary in the last week of the following month. Is there any benefit to doing this, or what are the disadvantages of this practice?

Dear friend, I am not able to understand the import of your question. You know pretty well that payment of salary on time for the work done is one of the implied terms of the contract of employment between the employer and the employee. As such, failure to pay salary on time, despite the reasons attributable, is a breach of the contract on the part of the employer, apart from subjecting himself to penal actions under the Labor Laws, if any are applicable. Therefore, there is no point in discussing the advantages or disadvantages of such an illegal practice.
