Hi, I received an offer from a reputed MNC. My problem is that I was working in a startup as a director for the past five years, which I co-founded. I don’t have Form 16, and it's been only one year since the company's registration. Will this be a problem in the onboarding and BGV process?

You are stating that you were a director in a start-up, which I presume may have been a formal business. If so, then you would have some form of documentation about the business and about your directorship or proprietorship. You may use that. If it was an informal business, then you should state upfront the business activity and show proof of any transactions to your account. The underlying requirement is that you should be honest and transparent with your employer, and you will not be troubled by BGV.
