If these avenues prove unresponsive, the next step would be to file a complaint with the inspecting authority under the Payment of Wages Act. If your establishment is a factory, you can approach the Director of Factories in your area. If it is a shop or establishment, you may seek remedy from the Labour Enforcement Officer or Assistant Commissioner of Labour.
