Further, the EPFO has amended its implementation date to 01.09.2021 and issued a circular today itself.
Employer Responsibilities and Challenges
Now the employer will have to upload ECR for the non-Aadhar cases that were pending and not able to be uploaded. The deadline of the 15th is already past. How will the EPFO justify this non-compliance or late deposit? Not to mention their website not functioning, making payments impossible.
