Govt. of Karnataka VDA Payment Postponement Order
Considering the COVID situation and financial problems of employers and industries, the Government of Karnataka (GOK) has allowed such industries to postpone the VDA payment under the Minimum Wages Act (MWA) of Rs. 418, which is liable to be paid from 1.4.2020 to 30.3.2021, to mitigate the problem.
Needy employers can avail themselves of this, but arrears have to be paid in 2021 along with ESI and PF liabilities.
Order issued by GOK dated 20.7.2020.
Thanks and best wishes,
