During the lockdown period, our company provided an advance salary for fifteen days against COVID-19. My question is whether they can ask for the salary to be deducted, and how the same is treated in other organizations. Do I have to give the salary back?

Salary Adjustment During Lockdown
If the company decides to pay you the full salary, then the advance already given to you will be deducted from the salary, and the balance will be paid to you.
If the company decides to pay you 50% of the salary during the lockdown period, the salary will be processed considering the advance already paid as an advance, and the account settled without paying anything by way of salary.
If the company decides that during the lockdown period there was no work and hence no salary shall be paid, then the advance paid should be given back either in installments by way of deduction from the salary due in the post-lockdown period.
