Hi,
The company applies for a visa for its employee for business-related purposes, so the company bears the responsibility for their stay abroad.
Now, what should be done if an employee leaves the company while their visa is still valid? Should the company apply for visa termination since it could be used otherwise?
Please guide.

It depends. Are you referring to other countries' business visas or US H1B visas? If it is a US H1B visa, the employer can terminate it by informing the US immigration services. If the employee is based in the US at the time of termination, return airfare costs should be provided to the employee and their family if they have been staying with the employee. However, if the request for relief comes from the employee, the employer is not obligated to provide return airfare. In some companies, they may recover the visa costs paid by the employer for normal business visas obtained for business travel.
