My employer agreed to allow me to serve 20 days instead of 2 months NP. My resignation was in May. But they refused to pay April salary and said they will adjust my April salary in FNF. How valid is this? What should be my move?

Hi,
Please check your appointment order for the separation clause. Normally, they will mention the period of notice in case of resignation. Based on your statement, it seems your employer is deducting salary for a shortfall in the notice period. If you were able to serve the full notice period, you can inform your employer and request them not to adjust the salary for the notice period.
Please review your appointment order for this clause.
Thank you.
