Government's MAGNANIMOUS proposal to enhance the minimum pension to Rs 2000 is also shelved after dilly-dallying with the implementation of the SC order to allow enhanced pension on FULL salary (not on ceiling salary). Unless we are a vote bank, don't expect any favorable action from any Government. Another option is to approach the Supreme Court for implementation of their order on "civil appeal no (S) 10013-10014 of 2016 (arising out of SLP (C) nos 33032-33033 of 2015" delivered on 04/10/2016 (attached).
